  1. in answer to to the question you left on my blog, i think it’s due to the fact that the sentence is so strangely formed . minding something isn’t that odd, and the word ‘gap’ fits that little space of nothingness pretty well, but when you put the 2 together it’s an interesting and somewhat awkward sentence. “mind the gap.” 🙂 or maybe it makes perfect sense to the british…. ahhhh dunno!
