why don’t uefa/fifa announce the system they are going to use for the next world cup/euro championships in advance of this tournament? at least that would give some openess to the ridciulous system that leads sweden to be rated above england, spain, germany and holland.
Some chance. They need to be able to respond to last minute bribes and to make sure England are never put in the top seeded group for anything in principle. Actually, rumour has it they’re not going to be able to avoid putting us in the top group for World Cup qualifying. No Italy or Germany in our group like the last two times. Of course Germany could well end up being the team who drops out of the top 8 and we could get them anyway!
